AKDENİZ UNIVERSITY SECURITY TV CAMERA CONTROL ARCHIVE CENTER  

Today, it is imperative to use technological opportunities in order to ensure social peace and security. Security cameras are needed in the areas where education, training, social and cultural activities are carried out on the campus of our university. It is known that security cameras have a deterrent effect in the fight against crime and criminals, and their importance in terms of detecting and proving the perpetrators after the crime occurs. For this reason, our rectorate has monitored the areas where the academic and administrative staff and students are concentrated, as well as the areas with security risks. 

PURPOSE OF FOUNDATION: main monitoring center; It is the place where the images obtained from the camera system established in order to eliminate the threats to security within the university and to perform the audit task more effectively are watched and recorded. It has started its activities to contribute to the security of the university, to develop fast and effective measures against possible negativities, to examine the retrospective records for the solution of the events and to prevent them.

CAMPUS PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCE CONTROL 

 Protection and Security Branch Directorate provides the protection and security of Akdeniz University within the scope of Law No. 5188 on Private Security Services. Campus crossing points check the identity of those who come on foot to enter the campus, in accordance with the task instructions, by guards and security officers. 

CAMPUS CAR ENTRY

 Since the vehicles of the personnel and students who want to enter the campus with their vehicles are registered to the license plate reading system, the barrier will open automatically if they approach the entrance with their vehicle. Visitors who do not have a license plate are allowed to pass in exchange for their identity cards by learning their purpose of visit.   

CAMPUS SECURITY TRAFFIC APPLICATION 

Violation points system is applied for drivers who violate the traffic rules determined for university campuses and the Highway Traffic Law. 

PURPOSE: It is to ensure safety for both pedestrians and drivers, regulating traffic and preventing traffic crimes by joint action with the relevant Police Department within the campus borders.
